Privacy Protection and GDPR
Declaration on the processing of personal data pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the instruction of the subject of the data (hereinafter GDPR).
According to law, personal data consists of information about an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is a natural person who can be directly or indirectly identified, particularly through reference to a specific indicator such as name, identification number, or one or more special elements of the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural, or social identity of this natural person (hereinafter ""data”). If an agreement of mandate is executed with SkyCloud on lodging and enforcing a claim for compensation of damages or other claim to which you are entitled per Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, or other applicable legal regulation or contractual conditions, then in the terms of the legislation you represent a valid legal subject of the data, and the data we process about constitute personal data (hereinafter “PD”).
Before you become a customer using the services of SkyCloud, we request your consent to process your personal data. If you grant us consent, the personal data we work with and process we have obtained directly from you and with your consent, or from third parties solely on the basis of your consent for those third parties to share this data.
At SkyCloud we monitor the development of Czech legislation and EU legislation and we uphold all requirements imposed by law. We have a specific person performing the function of “Data Privacy Officer” (that is, an officer charged with the protection of personal data) – i.e. a staff member with sufficient competencies to influence the functioning of new and existing services such as to ensure the highest possible level of protection of the privacy of our customers.
